About Pixel Pilgrimage

Many games are set in places you can actually visit. Pixel Pilgrimage maps them, so you can stand where your favourite games happen.

How the map works

Every pin is a place that exists in a game and in the real world. Some are still easy to recognise, some have been heavily reimagined, and some are fictional places clearly inspired by a real one. Each place page says which.

Who makes it

Pixel Pilgrimage is made by Hakan, a gamer and streamer who would rather walk through Boston than just fast-travel across it.

This site is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any game publisher or developer. Game names, characters and in-game screenshots belong to their respective owners and are used here to identify and discuss the games. Screenshots are our own captures from gameplay.
